A Real Head Turner Of A Retail Project!

January 17, 2013

Today’s feature project is going to be a real opinion divider, I for one absolutely love it which is why it has ended up on this blog but there are others in our office who aren’t so keen, which is one of the many reasons I love interior design so much, like art it has the knack of dividing opinions on all levels. The store is called The HITGallery and it is based in Hong Kong’s Times Square.

Designed by Fabio Novembre of Novembre the space all about retro chic design, which is interesting as this was one of the trends we forecast for 2013 as being something to watch out for in the interior design world. I love how the store is very minimal in essence but in reality it is a perfectly spaced store for the design, the striking flooring coupled with the gorgeous blue visual merchandising detailing is a wonderful contrast that helps this store to really pop and explode with design awesomeness (as I call it) the store is stunning, clean but not clinical, chic but not ostentatious, quirky but not tacky, a fine balance that really sets of this retro store, although some would disagree this store is the epitome of what 2013 will bring in terms of retail design.
