Japanese Colorful Design – What’s Not To Love?

As this week has been heavily influenced by our latest exhibition design project we thought why not cover an exhibition design project as our Funky Fresh Thursday Feature? So that is what we will do and this week we have an absolute cracker, a space that is a marriage of a number of our favorite design elements, it’s from Japan, so that is awesome tick number one, it’s bold and colorful, tick number 2 and for the 3rd tick, it’s a genius piece of interior design.

Designed by Torafu Architects this exhibition space was created to showcase funky furniture pieces made from plywood by Ichiro at the Ichiro Japan Shop 2012. As with most of our Thursday funky fun project features there is little I need to say about what makes this project so cool, the pictures do that for me.  Just check them out below and let the explosion of color lift up your spirits as the weekend sets in.
