Prime Design For The Prime Cuts!
Sunday, the food day I look forward to the most in our house as it can only mean one thing, it’s time for a yummy Sunday roast. A Sunday roast also means a trip to our local butchers to get some meat, now if my local butchers was as amazing as todays feature project then there is a good chance I would make my visits a daily occurrence.
Feed Meat Market is an awesome butchers based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and was designed as part of a collaboration between FGMF Arquitetos and Projeto de Perto. As you can see from the images below, credited to Rafaela Netto, this is not your average butchers, instead it is a rock star ass kicking kind of butchers that celebrates the rich manna that is meat (apologies in advance to our Vegetarian readers)
I absolutely love many of the design features and elements such as the beautifully polished and classy fridge display units , they really showcase the meats perfectly, I also love the incorporation of the outdoors within the indoor environment, with the use of the bromeliad vertical garden and the tree. When you add in the quirky, eclectic mix of design elements such as the furniture, signage and wall treatments that give the space more vibrancy you get a beautifully balanced project that is perhaps one of the coolest and finest butcheries that I have come across, a real prime cut of a project, enjoy 🙂
