Retro Chic Design From Shanghai!

February 10, 2013

As 2013 gets into full swing I can already see a few new trends in the interior design industry but one of the trends I am really loving is the retro chic trend, for the last two years I have been all over industrial rustic design but now I am starting to grow slightly tired of it as it is now being ever so slightly over done, as happens with most trends.

So retro chic, well I can’t quite put my hand on to what exactly is Retro Chic but today’s feature project definitely comes close as a perfect example of retro chic design. The Heirloom Store in Shanghai was designed by Dariel Studio and what I love about it is how it pops with color and personality yet retains a certain sense of class and sophistication, this project for me is what Retro Chic represents, retro pop arty colors, fixtures and fittings mixed with a classical backdrop. Check out the images below and see why this project got out heart beating.
