The Great Wall Of Tea!
“Come on in and let’s have a cup of tea….” It’s amazing how many times a day I hear this or something similar or how many times I say it, what can I say, I am surrounded by tea lovers and I am the biggest of all of them. A cup of tea can often be the starting block to solving all of life’s little problems which is perhaps why it is so popular and so many of us drink it. Due to this popularity we are now seeing a boom in the Tea Shop industry and with quirky yet awesome design projects such as today’s feature project it is no wonder that these little places of sanctuary and heaven are popping up all over the place.
I absolutely love the design for The Great Wall Tea Company, for more than just its awesomeness. I love it because it combines some of my favorite things, firstly, clever efficient design in the smallest of spaces only a mere 155 square foot of space, secondly imagination of the highest order, thirdly it is an innovative design that makes this tiny space much more attractive than space 2, 3 or 10 times its size and lastly because although it is a small space the 568 tea containers explode with color and character which is all testament to the clever design talents of the designer, Marianne Amodio, this and the fact that the design is the perfect visual representation of the brand name as this indeed is a great wall of design and tea.
