Tokyo In Focus – Camper, Omotesando!
No trip to Tokyo, the forefront of the interior design world would have been complete without a look at one of the famous Camper stores that is based there, so last week when I strolled down the streets of Omotesando and came across this awesome little project you can imagine of how far into my element I was.
The store is absolutely gorgeous, simplistic perhaps to some but beautifully clever to others, including me. Designed by Jamie Hayon the store is a playful yet chic space that alludes to color and fantasy. Before I entered the store I knew I was in for a treat, especially if the candy cane door handles where anything to go by and once in the store I was the furthest thing away from being let down that I could have been. As you can see from the images below the store is simply stunning and one that I will come back to over and over again as a wonderful example of sophisticated yet playful retail interior design 🙂
