Nicola wins young interior designer of the year

We’re over the moon that our head of F&B Design Nicola Fahy has won young interior designer of the year at this years CID Awards. The gong is awarded to the most promising young commercial interior designer currently working in the Middle East. And we’re absolutely delighted that this years young interior designer of the year works at Studio EM.

Nicola began work at Studio EM as an intern in 2012. Since then she has risen to be head of F&B in the design firm.

View from a mentor:

Here’s what Emma Stinson, owner of Studio EM has to say about her. “It’s hard to avoid rhetoric when describing Nicola and her contribution to the studio. The highest praise I can give her, is that without her, the studio simply wouldn’t be where it is today. For someone who started as an intern to now being my right-hand woman. We would struggle to achieve what we have without her.”

After years of working away on some wonderful projects, it’s awesome to see Nic be recognized. This awards is the leading design award for young designers in the region. After being shortlisted last year, it’s fantastic to see Nicola go one better this year.
