Positively Negative Residence
As luxury residential interior designers, we’re always on the look out for some swoon worthy projects for inspiration. Today’s feature project is a wonderful example of minimalist luxury residential interior design. The “Positively Negative” Residence is based in Venice Beach California. The gorgeous project was designed by residential interior designer Dan Bruun of DBA Architecture.

Minimalist Beauty
The 4000 sq ft home is a beacon of minimalist beauty. Based on the beach front, the design is all about harnessing as much natural light as possible. Undoubtedly doing so by using white, bright and light materials and surfaces. However this design also has a certain brutalist vibe to it also. Perhaps it’s the concrete effect wall panels or the large industrial sized windows. Furthermore, these windows are stunning in creating a frame for the beautiful view.

Holistic Design
I absolutely love how the exterior design is mimicked in the interior. Either through the wall tile features throughout the house and the bathrooms. In addition to the simple yet striking staircase designs. The staircase is as gorgeous as it is clean and almost sculptural. As residential interior designers in Dubai, we’re alway on the lookout for innovative and unique takes on beachfront properties. Finally the “Positively Negative” Residence is certainly unique, as we absolutely love it as a piece of luxury residential interior design.

Thin For The Win
The beauty of this piece of residential architecture and design is that the site itself is quite narrow. Meaning the building is quite narrow. However with the design direction, the materiality and the windows, this narrow feeling is negated. Instead the wealth and plethora of light that floods the space creates the impression of spatial abundance.
